Cursor Spotlight
Dim everything except a glowing circle around your mouse, so the people on the call always know where you are pointing. Load a slide or screenshot and present right over it — free, in your browser.

How to use it
- 1Move your mouse over the stage — a spotlight follows it and everything else dims.
- 2Use "Load a slide / image" to drop in the screenshot or slide you want to present over.
- 3Adjust the spotlight size and dim level, go Fullscreen, then share that tab on your call.
On a shared screen or a compressed video call, the macOS cursor is a tiny arrow nobody can track. Half the questions in any screen-share are some version of "where are you on screen right now?" A cursor spotlight fixes that by dimming everything except a bright circle that follows your pointer, so attention goes exactly where you point.
This free tool works in your browser and keeps everything on your device — nothing is uploaded. Drop in a slide, a design export, or a screenshot and the spotlight presents over it, with click ripples to emphasise taps. It is built for screen-sharers and meeting presenters who walk people through a document or deck and want every eye following the pointer.
Since it is a single browser tab, it is perfect when your content is an image or slide you can load in. When you need the same spotlight over a live app — a desktop design tool, a dashboard, a demo — you want a system-wide overlay that sits above everything.
FAQ
- Is the cursor spotlight free?
- Yes, free and no sign-up. It runs locally in your browser; any image you load stays on your device.
- Can I present my slides over it?
- Yes — use "Load a slide / image" to set a screenshot or slide as the background and the spotlight presents over it.
- Does it work in Zoom and Google Meet?
- Yes — go fullscreen and share that browser tab. For a spotlight over your whole screen and other apps, use Limelight.
- Can I highlight my cursor over a desktop app, not just the browser?
- Not with this tool. Limelight is a menu-bar app that adds the spotlight over any app on your whole screen, live.
