Online Teleprompter

Paste your script, set the scroll speed and font size, and read it as it glides up the screen while you look right into the camera. Free, in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel. Today I want to walk you through something I get asked about a lot — and by the end of this video you'll be able to do it yourself, step by step. So let's not waste any time. Open the app, and follow along with me. First, we're going to set things up. Then I'll show you the part most people get wrong. Take a breath, look right into the camera, and read this at a pace that feels natural. The script scrolls for you — you just talk. When you're done, hit Restart and run it again. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.

Click the stage, then press space to play or pause. Use Mirror for a beam-splitter teleprompter glass.

How to use it

  1. 1Paste your script into the box and adjust the speed and font size sliders to a pace that feels natural.
  2. 2Hit Play to start the scroll, then go Fullscreen and read straight into your camera. Press space to pause and resume.
  3. 3Recording with a beam-splitter teleprompter glass? Turn on Mirror so the reflected text reads correctly.

Reading from a script while staring at notes off to the side makes any video look stiff — your eyes dart away from the lens and the connection with the viewer breaks. A teleprompter fixes that by scrolling your words up the screen right next to (or over) the camera, so you can read naturally while looking straight down the barrel. The result sounds rehearsed but feels like you are talking to one person.

This is exactly what you want when recording tutorials, talking-head videos, course lessons, product walkthroughs or a speech you need to nail. Set the speed to match how fast you talk, bump the font size so you can read it from a comfortable distance, and let the words come to you instead of memorising every line. Stumble? Press space to pause, then pick up where you left off.

The whole thing runs free in your browser. Your script never leaves your device — there is no upload, no account and no watermark on anything. Open the page, paste your words and start reading. It is a teleprompter you can use right now without installing software.

For recording over a lens, turn on Mirror mode. Phones and tablets clipped into a beam-splitter teleprompter rig reflect the screen through angled glass, which flips the text left-to-right; mirroring it here cancels that out so the words read correctly in the reflection. If you are reading directly off the monitor, leave Mirror off.

FAQ

Is this teleprompter free?
Yes — completely free with no sign-up and no watermark. Paste your script and start reading right away.
Does it work offline once loaded?
Yes. Once the page has loaded it runs entirely in your browser, so the teleprompter keeps working even if your connection drops.
What is Mirror mode for?
Mirror flips the text horizontally for beam-splitter teleprompter glass, where a phone or tablet reflects the screen and would otherwise show the words backwards. Leave it off when reading straight off your monitor.
Can I use it while recording in OBS or QuickTime?
Yes. Run the teleprompter in one window and record with OBS, QuickTime, Zoom or any screen or camera recorder alongside it. Place it near your camera and read.
Does it save my script?
Your script stays in your browser on this page while you work and is never uploaded. Reloading the page resets it to the sample, so paste your final script just before you record.
