Changelog · v1.5.4 · 2026-06-06
Ripple delete a section from your recording — Limelight 1.5.4
Mark a segment and ripple-delete it — the surrounding clips close up with no gap.
Ripple delete lets you remove any middle portion of a recording without leaving a gap. Mark the segment in the editor timeline, hit delete, and the clips on either side snap together seamlessly.
It is the fastest way to remove a pause, a wrong turn, or an awkward silence from a tutorial or walkthrough. The whole clip shortens and the timing of everything after the cut shifts accordingly.
Combine it with trim for head and tail cleanup, and speed ramp for sections you want to move through quickly — all without opening a separate video editor.
