Changelog · v1.7.0 · 2026-06-14
Spotlight a region of your screen — Limelight 1.7
Drag a box to keep one area bright and dim the rest — live, over any app (⌃⌥4).
Region spotlight lets you draw attention to exactly one part of your screen. Press ⌃⌥4 and drag a box: the area inside stays bright while everything around it dims, so viewers look precisely where you want.
It works live on top of any app — a slide, a spreadsheet cell, a paragraph of code, a single UI element — and nothing is recorded. Adjust the dim level in Settings.
It pairs naturally with the cursor spotlight and on-screen drawing for presentations, online lessons, and software demos where one detail needs to stand out.
