Changelog · v1.2.2 · 2026-04-30
Record a custom region of your screen — Limelight 1.2.2
Drag to capture any rectangle of your screen — just the part that matters, nothing else.
Region recording lets you drag a selection rectangle before you start, and Limelight records only what is inside that crop. Everything outside stays private and unrecorded.
It is ideal when you want to show one panel of a complex app — a single browser tab, a sidebar, a tool palette — without exposing the rest of your desktop or other open windows.
The selection handles are adjustable before the recording starts, and the crop region is saved so you can re-record the same area without re-drawing it.
