Streamlined screen recording permission flow — Limelight 1.1

A clear one-step permission prompt gets you from download to recording in under a minute.

macOS requires an explicit permission to capture the screen, and the first-run experience matters. Limelight 1.1 redesigns it: a friendly prompt explains why the permission is needed, shows exactly which toggle to enable in System Settings, and bounces you back to the app the moment you grant it.

The prompt appears only once. If you ever need to re-grant it — after a clean install or a macOS reset — Limelight detects the missing permission at launch and shows the same guided flow.

It is a small UX detail that removes the one friction point between downloading Limelight and making your first recording.
